Terms of use

These terms cover your use of Footy Predictions. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

The game

• Footy Predictions is a free game for predicting football scores and competing in leagues with friends.
• It's just for fun. There's no money involved: no entry fees, no stakes and no prizes from us. It isn't gambling and mustn't be used for betting.
• Predictions lock when a fixture kicks off. Points are worked out from the final scores we enter, and league admins and site admins may correct results or scores if mistakes are made.

Your account

• You need to be at least 13 to use Footy Predictions.
• Keep your login details to yourself. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
• League owners and admins can rename their league, manage its members, and remove people from it.

Play fair

Please don't:

• use offensive, abusive or misleading names for yourself or your leagues;
• try to see other players' picks before kick-off, or change predictions after it;
• try to break, overload or get unauthorised access to the site or other people's accounts;
• use the site for anything unlawful.

We may suspend or remove accounts or leagues that break these rules.

No guarantees

We run Footy Predictions on a best-efforts basis. Fixtures, kick-off times and results are entered by people and may occasionally be wrong or late. The site may sometimes be unavailable, and we may change, pause or stop the game. As far as the law allows, we're not liable for any loss arising from using the site. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that can't legally be excluded.

Leaving

You can leave a league at any time from the league page. To delete your account entirely, email hello@footypredictions.win.

Changes and law

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and tell you in the app if a change is significant. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
